There are three parts to ApplixWare installation: installing menus and help (in English, French, or German), installing the software, and installing optional com- ponents. When you select install to choose the Menus and Help for the language you choose, a kpackage window opens, allowing you to install the package. After the first package is installed, you can install the Second and Third compo- nents by dragging-and-dropping the “install” links from those items on to the open kpackage window and clicking on Install. After installing each of the packages you want, restart the Panel from the KDE main menu by selecting Panel|Restart. You are then able to open ApplixWare from the KDE main menu (select Office|Applix). When ApplixWare opens, you are alerted that it is an unlicensed version of ApplixWare.
